Welcome to Interborough
Interborough Developmental and Consultation Center is a NYS licensed mental health agency. We have been providing mental health services to the Brooklyn community for more than thirty five years. Interborough has clinics in Canarsie, Crown Heights, Flatbush and Williamsburg, where we have been serving the multi-faceted mental health needs of families. Furthermore, Interborough currently runs clinic programs in eight public schools including middle, high and alternative schools.
Our staff is dedicated to Interborough's mission of promoting emotional health in the community and enhancing the quality of life for children, adults, seniors, and families. We serve people from the age of five and up, with a wide range of mental health needs, including depression, anxiety, Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder, and trauma related symptoms. Interborough is committed to providing the highest quality care, with a particular emphasis on utilizing evidenced based treatments.
In addition to our direct services to individuals and families, our staff provides consultative services to community-based organizations that provide social services and crisis intervention to individuals and families at risk. We provide workshops in schools and community based organizations for parents interested in enhancing their parenting skills.
